BUILDING A MOBILE FRIENDLY PORTAL FOR BRAND EUROPE
BRAND EU is the independent brand programme of the EU, helping generate a peoples’ movement for the millions that believe in European Unity and want to engage actively in reinventing the Brand of Europe. Our BRAND EU project, which has received unprecedented media attention, has been nominated under the “Education” category for Pan European Education initiatives.
Our multi-stakeholder website is full of interesting information about the European Union brand and our activities around the BRAND EU programmes. People can learn all about the European Union and what it does for its citizens in our expansive “EU Powerhouse” section! Our brand new, mobile-friendly website (found at brandeu.eu) also showcases our whole host of projects and plans to improve the brand of the peoples’ union, as well as explaining how citizens can get involved in building Brand EU, together.

The .eu Web Awards are organised by EURID – the non-profit organisation appointed by the EU Commission to manage the .EU country code domain. Today, we are pleased to announce that our new brandeu.eu site has been selected as a finalist for these European web awards! The announcement of the winners from the finals will take place at a Gala Evening on November 18th at the Museum of Natural Sciences, in Brussels. Once again, many thanks to everyone who supported us and helped us reach the final of this European competition.
